Prior to the signing of the Robinson Superior Treaty of 1850, Alexander Vidal and Thomas G. Anderson visited Anishinabek communities around Lakes Superior and Huron to assess whether Anishinabek wanted to treat with the Imperial Crown. This is their report. They visited FWFN in 1849.
In particular, see Appendix A (page 21) for a transcript of a conversation Vidal and Anderson had with Chief Peau de Chat (one of the two chiefs we had in 1849... the other being L'Illinois).
